Happy Halloween!

Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday, and I still cling to my childhood traditions, such as cartoon Halloween movies, costumes, decorations and trick or treating. I'm still very much that eight-year old Chrissy at heart, I suppose.

This year, Halloween proper is low-key. But tomorrow we have a day late Halloween party in North Park - we are going as clowns. I'll post the photos tomorrow!

A baby Jabali baby shower

Our dear friends, JJ and Jess are expecting a little girl this November. And the San Diego "fr-amily" (friend and family) is very excited to welcome her! Check out the baby shower we - Kat, Toni, Lura, Danielle, Carter, Mariam, Kristen and me - threw for the Jabali's a few weeks back! For all photos of this fun event, click here. A butterfly for Leroy

Thank you to all who contributed to the memorial butterfly for Leroy that now is displayed beautifully at the Water Conservation Gardens on campus at Cuyamaca College. The Dorcas E. Utter Memorial Butterfly Pavillion, open seasonally from April 1 - September 30 boasts a butterfly habitat for visitors to enjoy by donation only. Check it out!
