Fieldtrip Friday: Venice Beach

For our 5th wedding anniversary (9th anniversary in total) we took a mini vacay to Venice Beach! We both are photographers - well, I am learning whereas my husband has an innate talent. But we enjoy taking photography weekends at which we spend our time capturing unique, beautiful moments of our adventures.

We stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina Del Ray, which is adjacent to Venice Beach (VERY close to the canals). This was a perfect place to stay since we did get married in Negril, Jamaica on March 17, 2008.

The first day we took a 10-mile bike through Venice, Santa Monica and then Pacific Palisades. It was amazing - so picturesque.

The second day we spent hours walking through the canals, taking pictures and playing with the ducks. Then, we explored the eclectic neighborhood of Venice Beach.
