Tasty Tuesday: Fall Drink #2

It's October 1 - that means it's finally appropriate for me to decorate my house, front yard, backyard and office. I'm so excited I can barely contain myself! Pictures to come. =)

And in the spirit of my decorating fun, here is a festive drink for this ghoulish time! Shrunken heads in cider. Yep. You read that correctly.

I remember visiting a friend's house in Incline Village when I was ten. Her house was huge, gorgeous and reminiscent of a luxurious log cabin, boosting an indoor swimming pool, beautiful finishes and a massive backyard of pine trees. But what I recall most distinctively is her father's tutorial of apple carving. We each had an apple to carve, shape and create; set aside; and observe as the apple dried into a creepy, old face. So, when I came across this recipe, I immediately wanted to try it! Check it out!
And voila!
